Hi Lovelies,
I felt I should post this…
What’s your take on ‘procreation?’
Few days ago, I was talking to a good friend of mine over the phone. After a while, we sort of got to arguing. She was of the opinion that the power of procreation should have been given to just women, because of the stress and pain we women had to undergo just to bring forth a new being into this world.
As hilarious as that would sound to some people, it could be argued from that point of view, although, I’d like to actually deviate a bit. I am not a fan of MALE or FEMALE CHAUVINISM (as it were). I just like to stand by what is right.
As it is recorded in the bible, God gave the power of procreation to both the male and female folk alike, so no gender should feel inferior or superior to the other as most of us are all guilty of taking sides or being biased in one way or the other.
In line with the above, I have heard lots of stories of wives who tend to deny their husbands of their marital rights all in the name of being upset, praying, fasting, feigning tiredness and so on… The list of excuses are inexhaustible.
Please ladies in the house, on no condition should you deny your husbands access to your bodies by giving one flimsy excuse or the other; EXCEPT on the grounds of mutual consent.
However, if you decide to go solo, please don’t regret whatever outcome which may arise as a result. Most ladies will end up blaming the devil if their husband’s cheat or do something irrational.
Even though there is no justifiable reason for men to cheat on their wives, let’s not give the devil that satisfaction of luring our men into having extra marital affairs. Men on the other hand, should also try to be considerate most times and understand with their wives if and when the need arises. That being said, or posted rather, LOL, I look forward to seeing your opinions on this matter in the comment section.
XOXO!!!
